The “Libby Touch” proves successful once again as another stunning renovation before and after! 26 & 26.5 Poplar in Newport’s desirable Point Neighborhood went under contract in less than 7 days on the market – after an LKRDC transformation. This unique multifamily originally hit the market in the fall of 2019. Although loaded with income possibilities, the property required updating and refreshing in order to have prospecting buyers see its true potential.
Starting with the exterior, Libby and her team cleaned up the landscaping by trimming back brush, and clearing the back patio and driveway. The front door was repainted in order to appeal to a broader range of buyers.

26 & 26.5 Poplar is perfect example of the value of renovation design in listing a property for sale. In this case, a very conservative budget towards thoughtful upgrades, proved immediately successful in getting this property under contract in less than a week.
“I encourage all of my sellers to allow me to conduct a thorough assessment of a their property and offer suggestions for getting their property ready to hit the market and impress. The difference in buyer interest in a property that has been renovated prior to listing, versus one that has not, is night and day. Renovation, in many cases, does not need to be extensive or invasive. Decluttering, painting, simple upgrades and staging go a long way in adding value to your home.” – Libby
