Mixed Metals Drawing Inspiration for a Recent Renovation Project

My artistic spirit is never at rest. I am constantly enticed by talented artists of all mediums.  Lately I feel myself drawing inspiration from jewelers such as my personal favorite, David Yurman.  His bold and moderns designs became the inspiration in selecting hardware, lighting, and stone for my most recent renovation project at 9 Phelps Rd in Middletown.

I love mixing different metals – a Yurman signature – with exciting textures, and stone, to add variety and surprise to my designs. Utilizing the same color pallets and materials throughout an entire property can create boring homogeneity. By changing up lighting, metals, glass and stone, I add another layer of interest to this unique and expansive Phelps property.
